How to Schedule Your Donation in Advance

  • Follow this link to Donate 
  • Enter a donation amount. Any amount makes a big difference!
  • Under donation frequency, choose the option, “CO Gives Day.” This will schedule the donation to process on Dec. 10.
  • Finish the step-by-step process to pay by credit card or e-check and click submit.

How does Education Foundation of the Summit benefit from donations on ColoradoGives Day? 

We’ll receive a percentage of a $1 million Incentive Fund. If a nonprofit organization receives 10 percent of the total amount of money raised on Colorado Gives Day, that same nonprofit receives 10 percent of the $1 Million Incentive Fund. We are hoping for $100 of this free money!

How can I be sure EFS will get the donation?

Your donation is processed either through an e-commerce payment service called Authorize.net (for e-checks) or Braintree (for credit cards). Community First Foundation compiles the donations and electronically transfers the donations directly to the nonprofit’s bank account.

What will my credit card statement say?

Instead of seeing Education Foundation of the Summit, you’ll see “CmtyFirstFdn/ColoradoGives” or “COGivesDay/ColoradoGives” because ColoradoGives is a program of Community First Foundation and they manage the donations that come through the website. Your donation first goes to the Foundation. After processing, they grant the donations to the charities. This allows the Community First Foundation to issue you an acknowledgment letter immediately upon completion of your transaction.

Can I send a check?
